Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 12-year-old boy after he allegedly assaulted someone at a business in Bigfork. No word on what precipitated the incident.

Concerned acquaintances called to report a 25-year-old man missing. He was last seen Thursday. Turns out he's in jail in Lincoln County.

A gun was reported lost in Lakeside. The owner thinks he threw it away by accident.

Animal skeletons, most likely of horses, were found near a water park off U.S. 2 outside Columbia Falls.

A man who rolled his car while taking a corner in Martin City was not injured. The vehicle did cause some damage to a nearby building.

Someone stole a winch from a garage on Prairie View Road.

Deputies received 145 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A woman working at a store on U.S. 93 North told Kalispell police she received a cell phone message in which she was threatened with a lawsuit. The caller had her personal information. Officers informed the woman the call was a scam.

The secretary at a business on Third Avenue East thought she heard people on the roof and called her boss. Her boss called police. Police were unable to find anything amiss.

Officers were called to break up an argument between a Greenbriar Drive resident and their 16-year-old daughter.

Kids messing around on the loading dock of a drug store on Idaho and Main streets were gone when officers arrived.

Someone told police there was a man with a laptop computer looking at pictures of naked women outside an East Idaho Street casino. Officers determined the man was just using a wireless Internet connection.

Officers arrested a 19-year-old woman on suspicion of disorderly conduct on Third Avenue and Main Street.

Officers received 73 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 16-year-old boy for theft at Whitefish High School. He allegedly tried to steal an iPod.

Golf clubs were reported stolen from a golf course on U.S. 93.

Officers received 51 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department quickly extinguished a fire on South Cedar Drive.

The Kalispell Fire Department was paged out to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 south of West Reserve Drive, but the vehicles reportedly involved were gone when rescue personnel arrived.

The Smith Valley and West Valley fire departments extinguished a fire in the roof of a building on Kienas Road.

The Kalispell and South Kalispell fire departments responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 north of Montana 82, but no one was injured.

Deputies responded to what was reported as an assault in progress on East Oregon Street, but no one involved wanted to press charges.

Someone threw a rock through the window of a residence on Fourth Avenue East North outside Columbia Falls.

After noticing a suspicious vehicle on First Street South East, a Hungry Horse resident called in a possible prowler.

Trespassers were reported on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell. Turns out, however, the transients already had moved from their camp.

A man showed up at his ex-wife's North Hilltop Road home, but she didn't want him there.
