A Lakeside man told Flathead County sheriff's deputies that someone broke the lock off his shop and took a pick to the door handle. A refrigerator was missing. He suspects the ex-wife.

Deputies separated people involved in a disturbance on Parkview Drive in Evergreen.

A unit, possibly two, at a storage facility on Montana 35 was broken into. Deputies are investigating.

Deputies twice were called to a Spotted Bear Road residence Tuesday to deal with people arguing about a variety of issues. Threats allegedly were made on at least one occasion.

After trespassers were reported on property off U.S. 2 west of Kalispell, responding deputies discovered an old transient camp.

Deputies separated people arguing about the repossession of property on Sherman Lane in Bigfork. The parties involved were told to settle the matter in civil court.

Title loans became an object of dispute between two Columbia Falls residents. One reportedly wasn't returning the other's phone calls.

A woman wanted to file a complaint against her mother-in-law, who allegedly threatened to assault her. It doesn't matter that she's in New Jersey and her mother-in-law is in Flathead County.

Excessive dust was reported on KM Ranch Road.

Deputies received 128 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

A man, who reportedly had trouble pumping gas, urinated outside a convenience store on First Avenue East. Kalispell police responded but were unable to find him.

People in a car were spotlighting houses on Jubilee Court.

A passer-by called in to report that an infant had been left alone in a car outside a department store on U.S. 93 North, and then got into an argument with the child's mother.

A woman told police her 3-year-old handicapped son was assaulted on Seventh Avenue East North.

Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of felony DUI on Second Avenue West after he was reported as driving drunk.

Three men came in to a casino on U.S. 93 South and checked out the tables, but apparently didn't know anything about poker. Thinking this was suspicious, employees called police. The men were gone when they arrived.

Someone broke into a home on Third Street East and made off with a laptop that was on a table.

Officers kicked a transient out the library and ordered him not to return.

About 20 people outside a Teal Drive residence weren't fighting, despite the initial report to police.

A man allegedly used his dead brother's ID at an Airport Road bar.

Officers received 72 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Someone stole a jacket out of a car on O'Brien Avenue. Whitefish police are investigating.

Kids scuffling on the viaduct turned out to be just horsing around.

A 13-year-old girl was arrested for theft at a school on Second Avenue and U.S. 93.

Graffiti was found on buildings on Central Avenue.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of drug possession during a traffic stop on Seventh Street East and Pine Avenue.

Officers received 51 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop outside a credit union on U.S. 2.

An iPod was reported stolen at the high school.

Officers received 24 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. 93 north of Montana 82. The car reportedly was on its side in the median.

The Smith Valley Fire Department was paged out to North Foy's Lake Drive after a deer got stuck in some ice.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to reports of a grass fire on Spring Prairie Road.

The Badrock Fire Department extinguished a grass fire off Columbia Falls Stage Road. A fire from days ago flared up in strong winds, getting into some trees.
