BROWNING - Carolyn Sharpe accounted for all 16 outs for the Whitefish Lady Bulldog softball team on Friday.

Sharpe struck out 13 Browning batters and threw out three other potential baserunners as Whitefish defeated host Browning 17-0 in five innings.

Madison Tveidt led the Bulldogs at the plate. She was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs.

Overall, the Bulldogs had 21 hits.

"It was awesome. It was nice to get our first win. But more important were the victories inside the win," said Whitefish head coach Alan Compton.

"She had a good game," he said.

"Carolyn - we've been working on hitting her spots. She really hit her spots good today," he said.

"And the whole team was patient. They didn't try and overswing. They waited for a good pitch and when they hit it, they hit it hard," he added.

The Bulldogs (1-2) play host at noon and 2 p.m. today to Havre.
