The Flathead County Sheriff's Office received a report of a black bear raiding a bird feeder and behaving aggressively at an Aerie Place residence Thursday night in Bigfork. The resident told dispatchers he shot the bear with a BB gun.

A teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting a pair of sunglasses from Walmart.

A Windriver Road resident reported that he was being threatened by his wife's family.

Late Thursday night, there was a report of about 10 horses loose near U.S. 2 in the Jackson Meadow area. The horses were rounded up by their owners.

A person reported that a window had been broken by a golf ball at a home on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell, where there are no golf courses.

There was a report of boys causing a disturbance near Walmart.

Horses once again were reported loose in the Jackson Meadows area near U.S. 2 early Friday morning.

A deputy responded to a report of two children fighting at the Lakeside School. The matter was handled by school administrators.

Four new tires were reported stolen from a residence on East Oregon Street, just outside Kalispell.

Deputies persuaded a woman to leave a Solberg Drive home at the request of a person living there.

The sheriff's dispatch had 155 log entries from 3:30 p.m. Thursday through 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a man, 40, on a suspended-license warrant Thursday afternoon on First Avenue West.

A girl, 14, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a store in the Hutton Ranch Plaza.

Officers responded to a disturbance at a south Kalispell hotel involving a man who was attempting to start a fight with another person.

Officers stopped a car with two men inside after they received a report of disorderly conduct at a bar on Airport Road.

On Friday, there was a report of tires being slashed on a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue West.

Tires, rims and door panels were taken from vehicles parked at a car dealership on the 800 block of East Idaho.

A 'squirrel crossing" sign was taken from a residence on the 300 block of Grandview Drive, leaving a hole in the yard.

Columbia Falls police

A man was arrested by Columbia Falls police on an outstanding Montana Highway Patrol warrant after turning himself in at the police station.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a woman, 41, on suspicion of drunken driving after a traffic stop Thursday afternoon on U.S. 93 South.

Police responded to a reported assault at a Central Avenue bar early Friday.

A vehicle reportedly was vandalized at Whitefish High School.

And police arrested a man, 38, on suspicion of drunken driving Friday afternoon on Central Avenue.

After a construction worker fell about 15 feet Thursday while working on the new Evergreen Fire Hall, the Evergreen Ambulance transported him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
