Kathy Marie Bronakowski, 51

Kathy Marie Bronakowski, 51, died Friday, April 24, 2009, at her residence after fighting a long four-year battle with cancer.

She was born Dec. 16, 1957, in Jackson, Mich., to Mildred and (the late) Howard Young.

She lived most of her life in Michigan until starting a new adventure and moving to Montana in the late 1990s. It was love at first sight for her, and she knew this was the place she would spend the rest of her life.

Kathy was a great woman with a big heart. She always knew how make you smile and was never afraid to help a friend in need. She enjoyed going camping, having barbecues, and being around people she loved and cared about. She loved the outdoors whether it was working in the yard or playing with her grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Jeff Moore; and also her father, Howard Young.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Nikki Witts, and husband, Frank Witts, of Kalispell; son, Christopher Young, of Michigan; brothers, Gary Young of Michigan, and Wesley Young of Florida; and her sister, Nancy Rowley, of Michigan. Grandchildren are Jada and Caiyou Witts of Kalispell, and Jazzlynd, Christopher, Anthony, Danny, Alissa, and Shawn Young, all of Michigan.

A memorial service along with a potluck will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at the Moose Lodge in Evergreen.
