Bigfork girls top C-Falls, 6-1

The Daily Inter Lake

Under less than ideal weather conditions, Glacier's Liana Bates continued her dominating sophomore season with a victory and the Wolfpack girls tennis team swept 8-0 against Columbia Falls on Tuesday.

Bates went 6-0, 6-0 to earn a No. 1 singles victory two days after having an undefeated streak of 10 matches snapped by the state's top girls player, Ellie Crum of Great Falls, in Helena.

"With everybody back, it's a solid girls team," Glacier assistant coach Cameron Rozell said.

The boys teams tied with four matches a piece on a day that had the worst weather conditions all season, Rozell said.

Glacier heads to Missoula this weekend along with Flathead to compete in the Missoula Invite.

Columbia Falls will compete against Bigfork on Thursday.
