A husband wanted to leave his Lakeside residence, but his wife wouldn't let him - so he called 911 to make an anonymous complaint. Flathead County sheriff's deputies ended up contacting both parties and their problems were worked out.

Some kid in a pickup was doing brodies in the Braig Road area.

A River Road resident allegedly is videotaping his neighbor, which another person thought was suspicious.

A Lost Creek Drive woman reported receiving verbally abusive phone calls.

The stop sign at the intersection of Birch and East Evergreen drives was stolen. In an unrelated incident, a car stereo was reported missing on Shady Lane.

A woman - clad in a coat, jeans, and house slippers - reportedly was on her knees off Terry Road talking to someone who wasn't there. Apparently she was waiting for her daughter.

Deputies were called to an Evergreen residence to investigate a man loitering in a pasture.

Someone ran out of a convenience store on U.S. 93 near Whitefish with two cases of beer.

A Caroline Road woman thought she heard someone on her roof, but deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

Deputies responded to verbal disturbances on First Avenue South in Martin City and on East Reserve Drive.

Kalispell police

A woman serving in Iraq, who has her paychecks deposited into her mother's account, told Kalispell police her soon-to-be ex-husband stole her mother's bank card and withdrew hundreds of dollars.

A dog described to police as ugly, brown, and mean barked all day on Windriver Drive.

Officers were unable to find an 11- or 12-year-old child hitchhiking on First Avenue West.

During a traffic stop on Eighth Avenue West, two girls were arrested in connection with possession of alcohol.

Some man shows up outside a Fifth Avenue West woman's home, reportedly to watch youths at a nearby bus stop.

An intoxicated man bought a bottle of vodka from a Kalispell liquor store and then drove to a nearby parking lot to drink it.

A woman's ex reportedly keyed her vehicle while it was parked at a bar on Woodland Park Drive.

Officers responded to a West Idaho Street pawn shop and arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with possession of stolen property.

A Buffalo Square Court woman told officers her son threatened her daughter with a knife.

Someone stole a pool cue from an Airport Road bar.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both on city warrants out of Columbia Falls, during a traffic stop on West Idaho Street.

Officers received 68 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 53 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 65-year-old man on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop on Second Avenue West.

Officers ticketed a junior high school student in connection with disorderly conduct.

Officers received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

A man collapsed while exercising on a bike trail west of Kalispell. The Kalispell Fire Department responded. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead.
