Flathead County Sheriff's deputies

It started with a stolen vehicle report to the Flathead County Sheriff's deputies early Monday, eventually leading to the recovery of two stolen vehicles. A Honda was reported stolen from a home on 500 block of Addison Square in the east Evergreen area. Hours later, it was recovered in front of the Kalispell City Shops. Monday morning, Kalispell Police got a report of a green Oldsmobile being stolen from the 400 block of Sixth Avenue East. That vehicle was later found near the Addison Square residence.

There was a report of possible sexual abuse involving two minors in the Hilltop Road area near Columbia Falls.

Checks were reported stolen from a home on Valley Drive.

The occupants of two trucks threw eggs at a man on the 1400 block of Montana 35.

A window was broken out of a truck in the Lake Five area, with a speaker box and radar detector reported stolen from the vehicle.

Two boys got in a fist-fight over a a bicycle at a business at the intersection of Montana 35 and U.S. 2 late Sunday.

Early Monday, there was a report of juveniles smashing mailboxes on Armory Road near Whitefish.

There was a report of missing boaters on Flathead Lake at about 1 a.m. But an hour later, the boaters, who had mechanical problems, made it home.

A Country Drive road sign was stolen.

A Sussex Drive resident reported a red 1964 Lund boat on a trailer was stolen from his driveway overnight. Family members were contacted and no one borrowed it, so it appears someone just hooked to a vehicle and drove off.

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on the 900 block of Reserve Drive.

A rear window was busted out while parked on Airport Road.

A golf cart was stolen from a Palmer Drive residence.

A generator was stolen off a cargo trailer parked on the 1700 block of Montana 35.

A nuisance goat was on the loose and eating shrubbery at a Grande Vista Drive residence.

Sheriff's dispatch had 175 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

A bicycle was reported stolen to the Kalispell police from a home on the 1200 block of Seventh Street West Sunday night. The next morning, a bicycle matching the description was found near an 1100 block of Fourth Avenue West, where another bike was reported stolen.

Windows on a commercial building were vandalized with spray paint, and a neighboring building was sprayed on Eighth Avenue West North.

A woman reported that while she was sitting in a car on Appleway Drive, another woman she knows opened the door, grabbed her hair and punched her in the face.

A man, 28, was arrested on outstanding warrants on First Avenue East North and Center Street.

After a criminal mischief report at a bar on Airport Road, officers arrested a girl, 16, and two boys, 15 and 18, for possessing alcohol. A fourth boy,17, was arrested on a felony Flathead County warrant and on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer, and possessing alcohol.

A window was broken at a business on First Avenue East.

A mountain bike was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Third Avenue East.

Kalispell police had 81 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police are investigating a rash of tires being slashed on at least five vehicles on Idaho Avenue, Dakota Avenue, Iowa Avenue and Idaho Avenue, along with a mirror knocked off a vehicle on Edgewood Avenue.

A man, 41, was arrested for drunk driving after a traffic stop on the viaduct.

After responding to a suspicious persons report on the 900 block of Wisconsin Avenue, a man, 30, was arrested on a Columbia Falls warrant.

There were 43 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a man, 34, on a warrant from another jurisdiction after a traffic stop on U.S. 2 at River Road Sunday night.

A boy, 18, turned himself in on a city court warrant.

There were 33 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
