Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence off Montana 35 after a woman called to report that her husband hit her in the face and grabbed her around the neck. He was found sitting outside on the porch when deputies arrived. He and his wife were separated.

Employees of a Bigfork bank called deputies after they were unable to understand a woman customer. She reportedly smelled of alcohol.

Identification was demanded from a state employee after pulling up to a Cougar Drive residence, but the homeowner refused to return it.

A Hoffman Trail woman called authorities after a man allegedly threw her against the wall and tried to take her child.

Deputies responded to Ezy Drive after a woman allegedly assaulted her husband and chased him around with a knife.

A woman called deputies after people in a car on West Bowman Drive allegedly threw rocks at her neighbor's house.

Residents of an Alpine Glow Avenue residence notified deputies after party-goers at a neighboring home were spotted running around nude. A hot tub reportedly was involved.

Deputies received 197 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

Rental signs and traffic cones were moved around on First Avenue East. A dummy was left in a resident's yard. Kalispell police are investigating.

One of the people involved in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 93 and Meridian Road suffered a sore neck.

A man and woman heard yelling at each other at a Liberty Street residence were separated.

Two boys caught shoplifting from a grocery store on First Avenue East North were cited for the possession of alcohol.

A man allegedly was seen running away from the scene of a break-in at an Ashley Lane residence.

Jewelry was stolen from a North Main Street store. A diamond ring and GPS unit went missing from a convertible on Fifth Avenue West after the top was cut into.

Someone shattered the window to a music shop on Main Street late Wednesday night.

Officers received 93 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police responding to a suspicious person complaint on Wisconsin Avenue ended up arresting an 18-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man for burglary, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. The pair allegedly broke into an empty building and spilled paint everywhere.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old man for partner assault after he allegedly attacked a family member on Wisconsin Avenue.

Officers received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Third Avenue East North after a pedestrian and car collided. A man with an injured leg was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Bigfork Ambulance and the Ferndale Fire Department responded to Montana 209 after two motorcycles collided. Injured riders were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a crash west of Whitefish on U.S. 93. Injured parties were taken to North Valley Hospital.

The South Kalispell Fire Department extinguished a small brush fire off Cemetery Road. A campfire reportedly got out of control.

A fire was discovered in a garbage can outside an East Washington Street school. The Kalispell Fire Department responded.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Cliff Creek Road. The flames were quickly extinguished.
