Officials hold meeting about Legends Stadium parking

Parking concerns near Legends Stadium will be in the spotlight at a 6 p.m. Aug. 12 public meeting.

The meeting will be held at Legends Stadium in Kalispell, just south of Flathead High School.

Kalispell police and fire officials are teaming up with Kalispell Public Schools representatives to facilitate a discussion that night about parking in the residential area around the athletic facility.

Many of the streets there are narrow and quickly get clogged with traffic during athletic events at the stadium. Police and fire vehicles and emergency apparatus cannot quickly navigate there, meaning response times may be delayed during events.
