Final round for 'Bubba Burger'

The Bubba Burger, a now famous creation made by James Monroe of The Cutting Board in Eureka, is poised to win "Live with Regis and Kelly's Ultimate Hometown Grill-Off."

The final round of voting for the best grill in America will be available at www.livewithregisandkelly.com today and Saturday only. Click the "Ultimate Hometown Grill-Off" button to vote.

The two chefs who receive the highest number of votes will be flown to New York for a grill-off, and the winner of that competition will be featured in Better Homes & Gardens Magazine.

Monroe's slap-dash burger, which features a mesquite fire-roasted hamburger topped with shrimp, Cajun sausage and chiptotle sauce, won the burger category of the Ultimate Grill-Off. Since winning the burger category, Monroe's sales have skyrocketed and even Gov. Schweitzer has sampled the Bubba Burger.
