Street work ahead on Kalispell's east side

Beginning Monday, Schellinger Construction will begin storm-drainage improvements on Sixth Avenue East, between 11th Street East and 13th Street East in Kalispell.

The project also will include extending storm drains and piping between the intersections of Sixth Avenue East and Fifth Avenue East.

These streets will be closed to all through traffic during construction hours and will be reopened at night for local traffic.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 30 days. Motorists are encouraged to obey all warning and detour signs.
