Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to Elk Park Road to settle an argument between a father and son, both of whom were intoxicated. Turns out the son had a warrant out of Columbia Falls, so he was arrested.

An East Oregon Street woman befriended two men who moved in next door, then thought it was suspicious when one wanted to come over for a visit. She called deputies, and he went away.

Several men and women wee observed fighting on Montana 206, but no one wanted to sign a complaint.

A Hungry Horse resident believes someone is firing a .22-caliber rifle near his home, possibly in an unsafe manner.

Medication was reported stolen on U.S. 93 South. A wallet went missing in the West Glacier area.

A man got into an argument with his Reed Lane parents because they wouldn't give him his guns.

Someone called in to report a possible chop-shop on U.S. 93 near Whitefish. Deputies are investigating.

A man and woman on Steeles Drive got into a custody dispute. The man called deputies because he asked the woman to leave him alone and she allegedly wouldn't.

Deputies received 177 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to an retirement home on Third Avenue West to investigate a complaint that a person was hit in the face by an elderly woman with a cane. No one wanted to file charges, however.

Officers were asked to serve a restraining order against a woman allegedly trying to move back in to her mother's house.

A man who showed up at a West Nicklaus Avenue residence to retrieve his kids got into a scuffle with another man on the property. He claims he was assaulted after refusing to leave.

Police went looking for a man allegedly threatening to kill people up in the North Fork after getting a call from a concerned family member. Officers contacted the man, who said he was fine and had no idea why the family member called authorities.

A man on Second Avenue East got into an argument with a neighbor over allegedly stolen property.

Five men were arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol by a minor after getting into a fight at an East Idaho Street restaurant.

A man told police he was approached at a west Kalispell convenience store by two people who said he owed them money. The pair allegedly gave him a ride and then threatened him.

Officers received 82 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 32-year-old man for violating his probation during a traffic stop on Baker Avenue.

Officers received 40 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 17-year-old girl for family member assault after being called to FranLou Park Lane to investigate a suspicious circumstances complaint.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded Thursday night to a three-car crash on U.S. 93 just north of Meridian Road. Injured occupants were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to the fairgrounds to treat two people who, in separate incidents, suffered a head injury and had a stroke.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to Lower Valley Road after a motorcyclist collided with a deer. He was taken to the hospital with head and ankle injuries.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Fifth Avenue West to treat a person suffering from a bee sting.

Three Rivers EMS responded to Glacier National Park after a 23-year-old man in Apgar Village was struck by a car. He was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Somers Fire Department and South Kalispell Fire Department were paged out to U.S. 93 South after a passerby called to report a tractor-trailer on fire. Turns out it wasn't.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Smith Valley Fire Department were called to a crash on Smith Lake Road. Two injured occupants were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
