A concerned citizen called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies after watching a Bryce Lane man take a baseball bat to a truck. Turns out it was his truck, and he was just venting some frustration. The man, however, had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, and so was arrested.

Deputies separated a man and woman fighting on South Cedar Drive. The disagreement was over custody of a child.

Men on four boats anchored in Bigfork Bay got a little rowdy. One reportedly urinated in the water while another started encouraging passing women to remove their shirts.

Gunshots reported near a church on Montana 35 actually turned out to be fireworks.

A neighbor heard screaming and yelling coming from a Stoner Creek Road home. But when deputies arrived, they discovered the man causing the problem had already fallen asleep.

The passenger of a car that passed another vehicle on Montana 82 reportedly was hanging out the door and may have had a gun in his hand.

Tires were slashed last week on a car parked outside a Martin City bar. Now the owner may have a suspect.

Deputies received 172 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to a hotel on U.S. 93 South after receiving a report that two people were fighting "brutally." A woman involved in the fracas was already gone when officers arrived.

A man at a drug store on Main and Idaho streets tried to convince passersby to pick up a prescription for him. Officers located the man, who told them he was trying to get somebody to pay for it.

Brothers reportedly fighting at a bank on Second Avenue East were separated.

A Liberty Street woman requested officers remove her soon-to-be ex-husband and his girlfriend from her home. Officers advised him to leave and her to stop yelling at him in front of the kids.

Teenagers in the Seventh Avenue West North area were spotted throwing rocks at cars.

A Farview Drive woman filed a complaint against her neighbor, who allegedly is harassing her about their children playing outside at the same time.

Someone allegedly threw tomatoes at a man driving down South Main Street.

An intoxicated customer tried to steal tobacco from a West Idaho Street convenience store, then continued to hang around outside.

Officers received 87 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

The concession stand at an exclusive Whitefish golf course was broken into. Items were scattered everywhere. Whitefish police are investigating.

Some kid tried to let the air out of the tires of a squad car after officers left it to conduct a foot patrol downtown. Officers gave chase, but the kid got away.

Officers received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police counseled family members embroiled in a squabble on Second Street West.

Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to crashes Friday night on Third Avenue West and First Avenue West.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to Helena Flats Road after a car hit a utility pole. No one was seriously injured.

The ALERT helicopter, Coram Fire Department, Three Rivers EMS, and Canyon Quick Response Unit were paged to U.S. 2 to treat a person suffering from a bee sting.

The Kalispell Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire at a Center Street mall.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash on Main Street. Injured parties were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
