Flathead County sheriff

A Kila-area resident called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to complain that members of a certain religious group were doing something nefarious to his dog with a remote of some type.

Deputies responded to a party on Truman Road after a man allegedly choked a woman. Alcohol reportedly was involved.

Approximately $1,000 was reported stolen from an Evergreen car dealership.

The mother of two small children found wandering away from their Evergreen apartment and toward Montana 35 was cited for endangering the welfare of children.

A man on Steel Bridge Road called deputies after his father allegedly beat up his mother. The father, however, has a brain disease and no criminal act occurred.

The person who allegedly broke into an East Edgewood Drive residence through the sliding glass door apparently didn't take anything.

Reckless boaters were reported late Monday night on Bigfork Bay in Flathead Lake.

Deputies received 182 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A group of about five teenagers on South Main Street allegedly asked passers-by to purchase them marijuana. Kalispell police responded.

Medication was reported stolen from a home on Fourth Avenue East. Also, movies went missing from a residence on the same block.

A Fifth Avenue West woman called police after a man refused to leave her home. He decided to go when officers were called, but later returned and started an argument.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man on a Columbia Falls warrant for violating his probation after officers responded to reports of a fight on Second Street West.

A man on U.S. 93 told officers another driver threatened to beat him up. He had honked his horn because the other driver reportedly failed to signal.

Police were called to a Main Street business after it received a "washed" and possibly counterfeit $50 bill. The bill is being tested for authenticity.

The mother of a 10-year-old Empire Loop girl told police two older girls beat up her daughter at a nearby park.

Officers responded to Liberty Street after a man called to complain that his ex wouldn't return his TV.

Officers received 85 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 28-year-old woman for disorderly conduct after responding to a domestic disturbance off Park Avenue.

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police cited a 28-year-old man allegedly involved in a family disagreement on A Street.

Officers received 20 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Somers Fire Department responded to extinguish a grass fire on U.S. 93 just north of Lakeside.

The Somers Fire Department also responded to a fire on a propane stove at a Ridgewood Drive residence.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded Monday afternoon to crashes at the intersection of West Idaho Street and Meridian Road and on Main and Fourth streets.

Paramedics with the Kalispell Fire Department responded to Three Mile Drive after a resident's nose wouldn't stop bleeding. The person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Marion Fire Department extinguished a wildfire, which had grown to about a tenth of an acre in size, on Lower Lost Prairie Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department responded to Church Drive after a farm worker lost a hand in an auger. The worker was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
