Scott Stanger Rosen, 49

Scott Stanger Rosen, 49, of Sand Coulee, a former floor covering installer, died on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at his home of cancer.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Schnider Funeral Home. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Scott was born on July 26, 1960, to Donald and Irene Rosen in Garden Grove, Calif. He was raised and educated in Jerome, Idaho.

In 1980, Scott married Susan Mareva Dunbar in Evanston, Wyo.

Scott started working full-time at the age of 16. He worked in Jerome and Boise, Idaho, then spent 16 years working in the Flathead. Most recently, he worked in Great Falls for Pierce Flooring. While he was working there he achieved the master installer level two designation, of which he was very proud.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and remodeling. Anything he set his mind to, he could do.

Scott will be deeply missed by his large and loving family.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Mareva (Dunbar) Rosen, of Sand Coulee; and son, Charles Clay Rosen, of Sand Coulee; father, Don Rosen, and wife, Charlotte, of Hagerman, Idaho; and brothers, Durk and Tim, both of Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene.
