Shannon Armstrong, 37
"Shannon's soul has made it to the eternal resting place. She started her final journey" on Aug. 15, 2009, at 4 o'clock in the morning. Although unexpected, she crossed over peacefully in her devoted husband's arms, with her children at her side in their Kalispell home.
"Her soul has become one with all of her family and friends. Though she is gone from us, she will always be dancing in our hearts and minds forever. She took with her our sorrow, remorse and pain, and left behind only thoughts of love and happiness for all whose lives she touched forever."
Shannon was born in McDonough, Ga., on July 29, 1972, to Karen Harris and Richard "Pete" McIntyre.
She is survived by her soulmate and loving husband, Joshua Armstrong, whom she affectionately called Snoopy; daughter, Leisa Raphelle Peterson, age 18; son, Mercy Sebastion Lee Peterson, age 15; "mom," Carol Peterson; father, Richard "Pete" McIntyre; grandmother, Imogene Roberts; mother-in-law, Patricia Sincavage; father-in-law and his wife, David and Diana Armstrong; stepparents, Karla Armstrong, Dan Sincavage and Ludi McIntyre; brothers, David, Chris and Gaberiel Peterson, Casey Sincavage, Lou Hylton, Zach Bacon and Gabe Armstrong; and sisters, Sandy Thomas, Laura Turner, Georgia Swearengin, Sarah Hylton and Jessica Bacon. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place with Buffalo Hill Funeral Home in Kalispell.
