A Glacier High School student has been suspended from school after he allegedly brought a knife to school Monday.

Other students reported the incident to authorities after overhearing the 15-year-old boy, who had been showing off the knife to friends, threaten another student, according to the Kalispell Police Department.

When officers approached the boy Monday afternoon, they found a multiple-bladed pocket knife. The blades reportedly were about 4 inches long.

The boy, whose name has not been released, is facing charges for carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
