A pair of Kalispell men were arrested Tuesday evening after police busted a methamphetamine lab on Fourth Street West in Kalispell.

Zackary Galloway, 24, and Matthew Freeman, 19, are being held in the Flathead County Detention Center pending felony drug charges, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies, the Northwest Montana Drug Task Force, Flathead County SWAT team, Kalispell police, and the state Department of Criminal Investigations searched a residence in the 1000 block of Fourth Street West about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Recovered at the scene were toxic chemicals used in meth production, drug paraphernalia, and about 11 grams of finished methamphetamine — which has a street value of approximately $1,500.

Authorities began investigating the methamphetamine lab as the result of a tip to CrimeStoppers.

Additional details were withheld because the investigation is ongoing and further arrests may be made, Meehan said.
