Sheriff’s deputies have identified the shooting victim who was dropped off at Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Saturday and announced robbery charges against his companion.

A third person still is being sought in the alleged robbery and shooting.

Bryan Schloss, 26, of Whitefish, remained in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit Sunday afternoon, Flathead County Sheriff’s Detective Ray Young said.

Schloss suffered multiple gunshot wounds from an incident that took place in a vehicle west of Kalispell, Young said. Young was unable to release more details.

Bo Hanger, 27, of Kalispell, was with Schloss in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. Hanger has been charged with robbery based on information turned up in the investigation so far, Young said.

He said a third man was in the vehicle when the incident occurred on Saturday. Detectives are working to track down that third man for questioning.

After Schloss was shot, Young said, Hanger drove him to the hospital and dropped him off outside the emergency room about 2:20 p.m. Schloss told emergency workers he had been shot. Hanger drove off before anybody could speak with him.
