Camper unwelcome in vacant home

Kalispell police got a report Sunday from a property owner who had discovered someone camping out at a vacant house on the 500 block of West Wyoming.

A man and woman arguing at a residence on the 200 block of Eighth Street East were separated by officers.

There was a report of several girls in a pickup trying to steal Christmas lights from a home on the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue East.

A woman reported that a man was refusing to leave her home on the 1400 block of Third Avenue East. Officers assisted him in leaving.

After getting a report of a possible drunk driver, officers arrested a man, 62, on the 1200 block of Seventh Avenue West for a second drunk-driving offense, as well as mental health detention and careless driving.

A man, 46, was arrested on the 1000 block of North Meridian on a probation violation.

Monday morning, there was a report of a window being smashed at a house on the 500 block of West Wyoming.

There were 53 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report from someone who had been bitten on the leg by a pitbull-type dog on Second Street in Martin City Sunday night.

Deputies broke up an argument involving two men on the 400 block of Kings Loop.

A resident on Silverleaf Drive south of Kalispell reported being attacked by a pit bull.

Monday, a woman reported that her daughter’s ex-husband broke down the front door of a home on Sunny View Lane and left. The man was later located and questioned.

A Rabe Road resident reported that windows on a bus parked on his property had been busted out.

A Henry Lane resident reported the theft of an iPod.

A purse was stolen at a casino on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

Sheriff’s dispatch had 90 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police had no significant incidents, and 21 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

As the result of a recent investigation, Whitefish police arrested a man, 60, for deceptive practices and stalking on the 900 block of Spokane Avenue Monday morning.

There were 27 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
