Douglas Leonard Strong, 47

Douglas Leonard Strong, (Radar to so many), 47, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, after a long, courageous battle, at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. Doug was born April 19, 1962, in Bremerton, Wash., to Leonard Sparky and Nancy Strong. Doug believed in living life to the fullest, and treasured the many friends that he shared his life with. Doug had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. He was a humble man and was always willing to help anyone, in any way he was able. He brought happiness to all those that he touched, and will be missed by all. He is survived by his mother, Nancy; two brothers, Don and Jack; and a sister, Deborah. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 9, at the Dam Town Tavern in Hungry Horse. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for Douglas family.
