Lillian R. Cortner, 96, a 50-year resident of Hot Springs and Kalispell, departed this world on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Hospice of Spokane. She was born May 22, 1913, in Butte, to Peter and Elizabeth (Zemba) Sologub. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; seven sisters; and her husband, Ben F. She is survived by her children, Raymond and wife Sharon, and Gary and wife Liz; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The vigil for Lillian will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 14 at Risen Christ Catholic Church with Father Rudolph Bullman as celebrant. Burial will be in the Murray Memorial Cemetery near Hot Springs.
