Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a suspicious man allegedly “slinking around” a residence. The frightened homeowner had sprayed him with pepper spray, only to discover the man was on the premises to serve the homeowner with legal papers. No charges have been filed.
A vehicle was reportedly driving north in the southbound lane of U.S 93.
A possible prowler was reportedly peering through a window in Martin City. Deputies were unable to locate the person.
In a “Romeo and Juliet” moment gone wrong, a 13-year-old teen crawled through his girlfriend’s window for a late-night rendezvous around 2:40 a.m. He left without incident after her grandfather notified authorities.
A neighbor reportedly has been blocking a man’s driveway on Valley View Court, inhibiting the man’s ability to back his car out. No charges have been filed.
A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at a gas station on Idaho Street. Deputies are on the lookout for the suspect.
Puppies on the loose around Birch Drive have some neighbors concerned. The owners have been spoken to about keeping their dogs contained.

Kalispell police
A man called Kalispell police alleging he saw a man kill a duck outside a residence near downtown. No charges have been filed.
A vacuum salesman allegedly entered a residence and “scratched up” a television.
Police arrested a 13-year-old for posession of alcohol.
Vehicles without handicapped stickers were parked in handicapped spots outside a day care. Upon arrival, officers found that there were no signs alerting drivers that these were handicapped spots. Painted symbols on the ground were the only indicators, but they were covered by snow.
A bouncer called police after a man refused to leave a bar early Friday morning. When officers arrived to escort him from the premises, he claimed his coat was missing.
Unknown persons reportedly stole a BMX bike from a house on Merganzer Drive. The bike was unsecured. Officers have no leads.
A 17-year-old woman was arrested for theft.
Two DUIs were issued after a car accident around 2 a.m. Friday morning. After the vehicles collided, a man jumped from one car and took off running, leaving another man in the car, who police later transported to the hospital with minor injuries. It is unclear which man was driving.
Three trucks were seen spinning doughnuts in a parking lot off Depot Park. They were gone by the time an officer arrived.
Two gray pickup trucks, both driven by males, were drag racing down Idaho Street. They reportedly began side by side, then proceeded to drive very quickly while weaving through traffic and appeared to be chasing one another.
After accidentally locking herself out of her home, a woman called an officer to let her in. When the officer was unable to do so, he called a locksmith, who said he would charge $60 to get her in to the house. The woman said she planned to find another way.

Whitefish police
Whitefish police arrested a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old on “minor in posession” charges. They were observed using substances near a school.
A 14-year-old student was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia on school property.
Whitefish police received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Columbia Falls police
Columbia Falls police received a report of a vehicle vs. a pedestrian, but no injured party could be found when police arrived at the scene.

Alarms
Power problems were reported in north Kalispell, including at Glacier High School during a basketball game Friday night. The outage extended to the West Valley area.
The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a report of a fireball on Fourth Avenue East, but found it contained upon arrival.
