Hockaday hires new director
The Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell has hired Elizabeth Moss as the new executive director and curator.
Moss has a master’s degree in arts administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She relocated to Montana from Virginia, where she served as director of programs and exhibitions for the Artisans Center of Virginia.
A grant from the Montana Arts Council allowed the Hockaday board to hire a highly qualified person for the executive director position, board president Tabby Ivy said in a press release.
“We are honored to be recognized with this investment in the arts and to bring some of the stimulus money to the Flathead Valley,” Ivy said.
