The Flathead City County Health Department continues H1N1 and seasonal influenza immunization clinics this week for people 6 months and older.

“This is a great opportunity for visiting college students and family to receive the vaccine,” said Jody White, Community Health Services director.

She reminds parents that they need to bring in their age 9 and under children for their second doses of H1N1 if they received the vaccine at least 28 days ago.

The H1N1 influenza vaccine is free.

Seasonal influenza vaccine costs $25 for adults 19 and over or $15 for those under 19. Medicare and Medicaid cards and credit cards are accepted for payment. No child is denied vaccine due to inability to pay.

During the week of Dec. 21, clinics at the health department at 1035 1st Ave W. are:

n Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

n Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

n Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

No clinics are scheduled on Thursday or Friday.
