Man tries to get away with forgery

Kalispell police arrested a man, 38, for forgery at a grocery store on First Avenue East North Sunday afternoon.

A woman, 23, was arrested for partner-family member assault at a residence on the 200 block of Empire Loop.

Responding to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian, officers arrested a 19-year-old male as a minor in possession of alcohol.

Monday, a cell phone was reported stolen at Kalispell Center Mall.

Officers broke up an argument between and a woman on the 100 block of Sixth Street East.

Another argument was broken up on the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue East.

A man was cited for shoplifting from a grocery store on Third Avenue East North.

There were 44 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report of a drunk man wandering near the railroad tracks in the Whitefish early Monday. The man was lost, but was pointed in the right direction to get home.

There was a report of teenagers trying to buy alcohol from a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A dispute between a man and a woman was broken up on Whitetail Ridge Road in Kila.

Deputies were called to ask an unwanted man to leave a woman’s home on Goat Trail Road in Happy Valley.

A display plaque was stolen from the Flathead County Animal Shelter.

Deputies broke up a dispute between a mother and daughter at Westridge Drive residence in the Somers area.

A purse went missing after a woman left it in a shopping cart at a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A shop was broken into and tools were stolen at a home on Conestoga Road.

Sheriff’s dispatch had 125 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police arrested a man, 19, for shoplifting from a Nucleus Avenue Sunday.

A woman, 54, was arrested early Monday for drunk driving and warrants from other jurisdictions at a convenience store parking lot on U.S. 2.

Whitefish police had no significant incidents, and 32 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
