Valarie Martin Green Adams, 95

Valarie Adams passed away in Oregon City, Ore., at her youngest son s home on Dec. 19, 2009. Valarie was born in a log cabin on Sept. 26, 1914, in what is now known as Martin City. Her parents and grandparents homesteaded this site in the 1900s. She spent her early years in Coram. She was married to Charles Green, and they had two daughters and a son. She married Brice Adams and they had a son, Brian, and later moved on to Oregon where she spent the remainder of her life, except for a few years of being a snowbird in Arizona. Val is survived by daughters, Benise Shepard of Oregon, and Janise Green of Polson; sons, Gerald Green of Arizona, and Brian and Connie Adams of Oregon City; a stepson, Barry Adams, of Arizona; a sister, Gayle Martin Smith, of Hungry Horse; and several grand-, great-, and great-great-grandchildren. Val was preceded in death by her husbands, Charly Green and Brice Adams; one grandson; two great-grandsons; and two sisters. At her wishes, no services are scheduled.
