Neiss, Cheff, Houle, Picard top mat polling

Ronan has two individuals ranked No. 1 at their weight class, while Columbia Falls and Polson both have one in the latest coaches poll for Class A wrestling.

The individual leaders are: Ronan’s Cameron Neiss (135) and Toby Cheff (189); Columbia Falls’ Kelly Houle (215) and Polson’s Brock Picard (171).

Picard last week finished second at the prestigious Tri-State Tournament in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, falling in the final 2-1.

Neiss won his weight class and Cheff finished second at the CMR Holiday Classic in Great Falls.

Houle won his weight class and was named the outstanding wrestler at the Buzz Lucey Invitational in Eureka.

On the team front, Havre remains a solid No. 1 with Ronan fourth, Polson ninth and Libby 10th.

Havre won the CMR Holiday Classic  for the fourth-straight year.
