Courses offered on home, property ownership

Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana (formerly Northwest Montana Human Resources' and ETHIC are offering certified consumer education and consulting programs in the coming months.

First-time home buyers and experienced owners will receive unbiased information from certified instructors regarding new and up-to-date aspects of home and property ownership.

The winter 2009 schedule:

Homebuyers "Certified" Education and Consulting Program

n Feb. 21 - One-day complete program 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

n March 21 - One-day complete program 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

n April 14, 16 and 21 - Three-part program, 6 to 9 p.m.

n May 12, 14, and 19 - Three-part program, 6 to 9 p.m.

Financing Real Estate and Your Credit

n March 26 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.

n April 30 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Home and Property Buying and Selling Preparation

n Feb. 24 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.

n March 24 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.

n April 28 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.

n May 11 - 6 to 8:30 p.m.
