A woman on Fourth Street in Hungry Horse told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies two men beat up on her husband and called him a child molester. The man is a registered sex offender, according to authorities. The victims agreed to call back if the suspects returned.

Gas was stolen from a vehicle on Beta Road in Hungry Horse.

A 16-year-old Whitefish Stage Road boy took his parents' car without permission, resulting in a call to deputies. The boy later returned with the car and charges were not pursued.

A man and woman got into an argument on Airport Road. He reportedly got a little aggressive, so she took the dog and left. Deputies were called back to Airport Road a short time later when a person pounding on the door refused to leave.

A Hungry Horse man told deputies he was jumped by several other men, who then proceeded to punch him in the ribs. The victim was unable to identify the suspects.

Deputies responded to a home on U.S. 2 after a girl told authorities she thought two other girls were coming over to beat her up. The complaint was later canceled.

A 27-year-old man with a warrant for violating his probation turned himself in at the Sheriff's Office. He had been convicted of drug possession.

A Hungry Horse woman suspected her sick sister's husband wasn't allowing the caregiver into the house.

Deputies were called to a motel on Montana 35 in Evergreen after a man allegedly tried to break into a room.

Deputies received 137 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police are investigating the death of a 28-year-old Fifth Avenue West North man. His body was found in his residence. Detectives discovered no apparent means of death or indications of violence. He reportedly had some health problems.

Someone pulled the panel of an ATM machine at a Center Street bank.

Officers were called to a West Montana Street casino after a man urinated in front of the building.

A Fifth Avenue East resident complained about being harassed over the phone and in person.

A woman and her child got into an argument about medical care in the Kalispell Regional Medical Center parking lot.

Officers helped a woman at a West Nevada Street residence get her 7-year-old child into the car. The kid didn't want to go to the dentist.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of DUI, open container, and driving without insurance during a traffic stop on First Avenue West North.

A passerby suspects a teenager is responsible for breaking the window on a cottage off U.S. 93 South.

A man and woman arguing on Second Street West were separated.

A homeowner on Third Avenue West requested officers pay special attention to the neighborhood when on patrol. Someone allegedly keeps egging their house and vehicles.

Officers received 60 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 52-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop near Colorado Avenue.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old boy for stealing candy bars from a Baker Avenue grocery store.

A child reported missing at a grocery store on U.S. 93 was found.

Officers received 41 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 25-year-old man on a felony warrant for writing bad checks when he showed up at the station to bail out his brother-in-law, who had been arrested on a misdemeanor Kalispell warrant.

Officers warned people allegedly fighting on Second Avenue West to knock it off.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man on contempt of court warrants out of Great Falls. He ran from police during a traffic stop Jan. 31, but was arrested when he tried to retrieve his pickup truck from the station.

Officers received 22 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department were paged to two rollover crashes on U.S. 93 south of Happy Valley. Injured parties were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Creston Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on Mennonite Church Road.

Non-injury rollover crashes were reported on Montana 35 near Creston and on Twin Acres Drive. Other non-injury crashes were reported on U.S. 2, Montana 206 and Willow Glen Drive.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40.
