Flathead County Sheriff's Deputies

A 54-year-old man discovered sleeping in a laundry room at a Montana 35 building was asked to leave. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested the same man later in the day for trespass and shoplifting from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

An intoxicated pedestrian fell over in Hungry Horse. A passerby saw some people dragging him off to the side of the road and reported the incident as suspicious.

Someone was reported for peeking into the windows of an empty Hungry Horse home.

Dead dogs were found in a Coram dumpster.

A recently fired employee and operators of a business on East Oregon Street had a little disagreement over the ownership of some property.

A Dover Drive man jumped into a car when the repo man tried to take it and then reported the incident as a theft. Deputies were dispatched to keep the peace.

Deputies responded to disturbances at a residence on Seville Lane in Coram and a motel on Coram Stage Road.

In separate incidents, gunshots were reported by residents on Harbor Heights Boulevard in Bigfork and on Lion Trail in Happy Valley, but deputies were unable to discover anything amiss. A deer needed dispatching in the Bigfork call.

Deputies were called to remove what was reported as an intoxicated pedestrian from Montana 206 near Columbia Falls.

Unwanted customers were removed from a dry cleaners on U.S. 2 and a tobacco shop on River Road.

Deputies received 127 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

Employees of a restaurant on East Idaho Street called Kalispell police after an intoxicated man made comments about sexually assaulting other customers. He was arrested after refusing to leave the premises.

Officers were called to a Center Street bank after someone took a piece off the ATM machine.

Overalls, lotion and a toothbrush were reported stolen from a bar on South Main Street. The caller was extremely intoxicated, and officers determined the report was unfounded.

A woman whose husband passed away last weekend on Fifth Avenue West North told police her spouse's ex-girlfriend took his leather coat and won't give it back.

Officers arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on West Idaho Street.

A man pushing a shopping cart down East Idaho Street agreed to return it to the store it came from.

Officers counseled a man and woman arguing on West Utah Street.

An empty magazine to a handgun was reported stolen from a car on Fifth Avenue East.

Library personnel needed help removing an intoxicated man from the periodicals section.

Officers received 55 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police were dispatched to a fight at a Central Avenue bar, but the participants were gone when officers arrived.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on Edgewood Place.

Officers received 51 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

A resident on 11th Street West told Columbia Falls police their mail had been stolen.

Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were paged to Blacktail Road after a pedestrian was reportedly hit by the tailgate of a passing truck.
