Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a fight between a man and a woman on Stoner Creek Road. But when deputies arrived, the parties involved said they were just having a party. They were advised to keep the noise down.

Deputies were asked to check on a girl who got out of a car on Airport Road and proceeded to walk down the street. Turns out she got into an argument with her parents and decided to walk home.

A 23-year-old man with an outstanding warrant for DUI, his fourth, was arrested near Holt Stage Road.

Deputies arrested a man on suspicion of DUI after his truck slid off Montana 83 near mile marker 90.

About 60 DVDs were taken from a residence on First Avenue South in Hungry Horse.

Deputies broke up an argument between a man and a woman on Harmony Road. The altercation reportedly began over child custody problems. The parties were separated.

Deputies responded to Coverdell Road after a woman tried to leave a residence with her children during a domestic disturbance. Those involved agreed to work things out.

A woman told deputies that, while she was out of the country, her sister used her identity.

Dogs - reportedly two pit bulls, two labs, and an Australian shepherd - chased livestock on Swan River Road.

A box with four puppies inside was abandoned at a Trap Road residence.

Deputies received 138 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police were called to First Avenue West after someone complained about a man shoveling snow from the sidewalk into the street.

Officers arrested a 45-year-old fugitive from justice outside a hotel on U.S. 93 South. Her companion, a 23-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of justice after he allegedly lied about his identity, and hers.

Three boys were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting gum, batteries, and a pocket knife from a grocery store on U.S. 93 South.

A Ponderosa Lane resident thought receiving 20 blocked calls was suspicious and called police.

Two youths came into a hotel on U.S. 93 South at 1:30 in the morning to warm up. They were watching TV near the front desk when officers arrested them on suspicion of violating curfew.

A reportedly suspicious vehicle in an alley off Ninth Avenue West and Center Street turned out to be plowing. Officers were back in the area after a resident heard gunshots, but were unable to find anything amiss.

Someone broke into a residence on South Main Street.

Officers arrested a Glacier High School student on suspicion of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Officers received 67 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

A woman told Whitefish police the belt buckle she left in the bathroom of a mall on U.S. 93 was gone when she went to retrieve it.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Cash and a credit card were taken from a purse on U.S. 2, according to Columbia Falls police.

Officers received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were paged to a slide-in on U.S. 93 near Rocky Cliff Road. No one was injured.

The Kalispell Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department responded to a rollover on U.S. 93. The driver did not need medical attention.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a crash on U.S. 93 just north of Montana 40. A truck reportedly hit a pole.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Smith Valley Fire Department, and Marion Ambulance responded to a rollover crash on U.S. 2 near Batavia Lane. The woman and several children inside were not injured.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on U.S. 2. A woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
