A Foy's Canyon Road man told Flathead County sheriff's deputies he was receiving harassing phone calls from a woman and she refused to stop. So deputies contacted the woman, who accused the man of similar behavior. Investigators told both to quit.

Deputies found a homeless person sleeping in what was reported as a suspicious vehicle in an Evergreen parking lot.

Binoculars were taken from a vehicle on First Street West North near Columbia Falls. Items also were taken from a car on North Fork Road.

A man told deputies he had been assaulted on O'Neil Creek Road.

A man picking up a child at a Kila school apparently smelled strange, prompting a call to authorities.

A Three Mile Drive man told deputies his father owes him money for firewood, but his sister won't let their father write any checks. Deputies were called to referee.

A driver ran out of gas on U.S. 93 north of Whitefish. When the driver returned, a note had been attached to the vehicle warning that the car could get hit or towed if left where it was. The driver wanted to report the note as threatening.

Deputies were called to remove unwanted people from residences on Shady Lane in Evergreen, Columbia Falls Stage Road, and on Third Avenue in West Glacier.

A dog reportedly was shot by a neighbor on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell. Some peacocks running loose caused trouble on Smith Lake Road.

Deputies were called to an electronics store on Montana 35 after a customer became unruly.

Deputies received 135 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A woman told Kalispell police a man broke into her Ashley Drive home, attacked her friends, and then ran off.

A wallet with $200 inside went missing at a Center Street mall.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman on suspicion of stealing groceries from a store on U.S. 93 South.

Six men yelling at one another about money in the parking lot of some apartments on Appleway Drive were gone when officers arrived.

Residents on Third Avenue East heard a crash, then yelling. When they went outside to investigate, they discovered a vehicle had run into a tree and the occupants had fled. Officers tracked down the driver, who told them the crash occurred because the driver was avoiding a loose dog.

A man complained about another man using his address.

Three men and a woman damaged some items at an East Idaho Street restaurant before leaving.

Officers received 89 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a residence on Eighth Avenue East North after a man fired four shots into the ceiling. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental-health evaluation.

Officers received 32 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

Big Mountain Ambulance responded to Big Mountain Road to treat someone with an injured leg.

The Kalispell Fire Department and South Kalispell Fire Department responded to Lower Valley Road after a car ran into a field. The driver was not seriously injured.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Kalispell Avenue.

The Smith Valley Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department responded to a three-car crash on U.S. 2 near Kila. No one was injured, but the highway was blocked.
