Flathead County Sheriff's deputies

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies received a report early Monday morning that a group of people snowmobiling in the Great Bear Wilderness were overdue to return and possibly missing. The snowmobilers, whose vehicle had been found, made it out unharmed before rescue personnel could respond.

A Lower Valley Road resident saw a man jump from a tree in the yard into some nearby water. Responding deputies were unable to find any such man.

An explosion was reported on Silver Leaf Drive and, in a separate call, a gunshot was reported on Mountain View Drive in Evergreen. Deputies were unable to find anything amiss in either case.

Deputies responded to Trillium Way after a woman reported that a stranger in her garage was trying to break into her home. Turns out the "burglar" was a process server there to serve some civil papers and no break-in had occurred.

A man and his soon-to-be ex-wife got into an argument at a home on U.S. 93 near Whitefish. He allegedly started throwing her things into the yard. Deputies separated the pair. She left.

A 25-year-old woman at a Martin City residence and a relative of the person who reported the altercation to police got into an argument over the care of children.

Reports that an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old trying to break into a garage near Columbia Falls were unfounded.

Three men in a Parkside Drive resident's driveway at 3:45 a.m. Monday took off running when they were discovered.

Deputies settled a disturbance between a man and a woman at a Shady Lane trailer park. A neighbor reportedly heard shouting and called authorities.

Deputies received 122 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

A woman told Kalispell police that another woman is impersonating her and acting as her child's mother. The alleged impersonation occurred at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A driver allegedly flipped of another driver on Sixth Avenue East North. One was following the other too closely and there almost was a crash.

Skateboarders on U.S. 93 North were warmed about running across the highway.

A woman who doesn't want a certain group of people hanging around her grandchildren, complained to police that the kids' mother was refusing to kick that group of people out of her house.

Officers responded to the intersection of Fourth Avenue East and Ninth Street after a school bus grazed the side of a car. No one was injured.

Threats were reported at Glacier High School. In a non-related incident, officers arrested a 17-year-old girl for drug possession at the same school.

A Kalispell-area woman wanted to report a case of stalking. Her ex-boyfriend keeps e-mailing her and coming by her house.

Someone called to warn officers of a Montana 35 resident threatening to make police use deadly force to subdue him. The report was unfounded.

Officers Deputies received 61 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a man for driving on a suspended license and without insurance during a traffic stop on Baker Avenue.

Officers Deputies received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received a report that a child had been left in a car in front of a bar on U.S. 2.

Officers Deputies received 16 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a store on U.S. 93 North after a 16-year-old boy who hit his head on a shelf discovered his vision was blurry. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department also responded to Crestline Avenue after a 13-year-old boy had breathing difficulties. He also was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The West Valley Fire Department was dispatched to Hunt Lane after residents called authorities to report that the floor around the home's wood stove was on fire.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to the 7100 block of U.S. 93 South after a reportedly truck slid off a dock. The driver was able to crawl out a back window and was not injured.

Four people were in a car that rolled over on U.S. 2 near the Hungry Horse bridge. Those injured were taken to North Valley Hospital. The Hungry Horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Canyon Quick Response Unit were paged to the scene.

The Creston Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded to Rolling Ridge Loop after a 72-year-old woman suffered an allergic reaction. She was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Badrock Fire Department, Columbia Falls Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS responded to Columbia Falls Stage Road after a car ran into a tree. Two of the occupants, who had to be cut out of the wreckage, were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to U.S. 93 near mile marker 123 after receiving reports a car was on fire. Turns out the vapor was steam from a busted radiator, not smoke.

The Smith Valley Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department were paged out to a Foy's Lake Road residence after a dryer caught fire.

The Hungry Horse Fire Department, Badrock Fire Department and Canyon Quick Response Unit were called to U.S. 2 near mile marker 140 after a vehicle hit a snow bank. One person was taken to North Valley Hospital.
