Two FVCC seats open in May 5 election

Candidates interested in running for positions on the Flathead Valley Community College Board of Trustees have until noon March 26 to file their candidacy.

Those three-year term positions include the Flathead High School District seat held by Ralene Sliter and the Columbia Falls, Bigfork and Whitefish school districts seat held by Thomas McElwain.

To qualify for the positions, candidates must be registered voters of Flathead County and reside in any of these school districts.

The school election takes place May 5.
