Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called to a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen after an item was reported stolen. But because the alleged theft was worth 25 cents, deputies declined to write a report.

Deputies ticketed a 19-year-old Tennessee man on suspicion of shoplifting after he stole acne treatment from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A Hemler Creek Drive resident told animal wardens a neighbor pepper-sprayed her dog, despite that it wears a shock collar.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to a woman's Second Street West residence because her ex-boyfriend allegedly was banging on her door and wouldn't leave. Officers tracked the man to Sixth Avenue West, where he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, open container, no seat belt, driving without insurance, and having an obstructed windshield.

A man in a car following a woman down Fourth Avenue East North while they carried on an argument was gone when officers arrived.

Protesters in front of a clinic on Sunset Boulevard were reported for trespassing. Turns out they really weren't.

Officers arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of his third DUI after a traffic stop on East Idaho Street.

A woman who showed up at her ex-husband's Third Street West residence to pick up some belongings allegedly refused to leave. She was advised to get a court order and then was taken home by a sober driver.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating reports that a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked outside the post office.

Officers received 18 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

Big Mountain Ambulance responded to the resort's base lodge to treat someone with a broken arm.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Yellowstone Street after receiving reports of a chimney fire. It was out by the time firefighters arrived.
