A 24-year-old man ran his car off Helena Flats Road. The resident in whose yard the vehicle ended up called Flathead County sheriff's deputies about the unwanted incursion. Deputies responded and ended up arresting the man in connection with probation violation.

Two clusters of mailboxes on Mallard Loop and Whitetail Lane were crushed by a car.

Residents on East Lakeshore Drive in Whitefish complained about snowmobilers trespassing on their property.

A Mountain View Drive woman told deputies a man tried to run her off the road twice. Deputies are investigating.

A Gordon Avenue resident called deputies after finding a person in their backyard. The trespasser bolted.

A woman on Montana 35 called 911, then hung up, after her reportedly intoxicated husband refused to leave. He was gone when deputies arrived.

A snowmobiler at the north end of Whitefish Lake suffered a broken wrist.

The person taking pictures of a Somers residence turned out to be an appraiser. This was discovered after the homeowner called deputies to report the man as suspicious.

The newspaper box outside a convenience store on U.S. 2 near Kila was reported missing.

Vehicles slid off the road on Farm To Market Road, U.S. 93, Smith Lake Road, Holt Drive, Helena Flats Road, Lower Valley Road, and Rose Crossing.

A portion of U.S. 2 west of East Glacier was closed after a tractor-trailer rolled, blocking traffic. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police instructed an employee of a bail-bond business not to continue calling an Empire Loop resident. The employee thought she was talking to a person with an active warrant. The resident told police the employee had the wrong number.

A motorist outside a restaurant on U.S. 93 North called police after a transient came knocking at the window of the car.

A College Avenue man asked police to tell a group of children playing in the tree in his front yard to vacate the premises.

Officers visited a North Main Street store to arrest an employee with outstanding Lake County warrants for DUI and traffic offenses.

Someone shopping at a video game store on U.S. 93 North left behind a bag containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A man who allegedly tried to assault another man at a Ninth Avenue West residence was told not to return to the home.

A credit card that had been reported stolen was used three times at a store on U.S. 93 North.

Officers responded to a Two Mile Drive bank after employees noticed a man sitting in his car in the parking lot. Turns out he was waiting for the bank to open.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 19-year-old woman in connection with possession of alcohol at a Central Avenue bar.

An explosion off Wisconsin Avenue turned out to be fireworks.

Officers received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a Diane Road residence after a disturbance was reported. A man had been locked out of his house.

Officers received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department was paged out after smoke was spotted southwest of North Main Street near Wyoming Street, but firefighters were unable to find anything burning.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on Montana 40. One of the people involved in the wreck was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Coram Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS were paged out to U.S. 2 after a tractor-trailer collided with a small school bus. The bus driver suffered a minor neck injury.
