Karen Boe, 55

Karen Boe, 55, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1953, in Missoula, the daughter of Kenneth N. and Lorraine (Owens' Boe. She had a sister and two older brothers.

Karen lived for many years in Boulder and moved to Kalispell in 1976. She worked at Flathead Industries and made many friends there and in the Flathead community.

Karen had a wonderful sense of humor, loved music, dancing and being with other people. And she loved her red shoes!

She came to live at the Immanuel Lutheran Home, where she was dearly loved, on Aug. 10, 2006. Her very special friends include Jim Hursley, Andrea Davidson and Pat Grant.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Owen Boe, and his wife, Donna, of Camas, Wash.

There are no services planned at this time for Karen. There will be a memorial service in the spring of 2009.
