The public is invited to a departure ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday for soldiers from the Kalispell unit of the Montana Army National Guard's 639th Quartermaster Co.

About 150 Guard members from the Kalispell, Libby and Havre areas are being deployed overseas in support of the Global War on Terror.

The ceremony will be held at the National Guard Armory at 2989 U.S. 93 N., north of Kalispell. The troops' bus leaves the armory at 11 a.m. and will proceed down Main Street in Kalispell, where well-wishers can wave to the soldiers as they pass through the city on their way to a mobilization station at Fort Lewis, Wash.
