Stillwater splits hoop action with Bigfork JV

The Stillwater Christian girls basketball team pulled out a 50-48 nonconference victory Tuesday over the Bigfork JV at SCS.

Julia Bray led Stillwater offensively with 15 points.

Bigfork JV's Kailey Fierro led all scorers with 21 points. The Valkyries' Taylor Peck added 11.

Stillwater is now 6-0 on the season.

"Julia Bray had an outstanding game," SCS coach Denise Topp said.

"Lorraine Moberly had some key plays. We did a nice of playing defense on their tall girls."

BIGFORK Travis Knoll tossed in 19 points and Christian Kerr followed with 16 as the Bigfork JV downed Stillwater Christian School's varsity in a nonconference matchup.

Bigfork JV outscored Stillwater 36-13 in the final half to break it open.

Josh LeGassey paced Stillwater with 11 points. Ben Harrel was next with 10.
