Sylvia Krona Bronson, 73, 'released her earthly ties' on the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, "and entered the arms of Jesus. Sylvia rejoins her mother, Edna Krona, and father, Ralph Krona, as well as her loving brother-in-law, Chuck Bronson."

Sylvia leaves behind her ever-loving husband, Lee; her sister, Debra Burke; and her brother, Ed Krona. Sylvia also leaves behind her daughter, Denise; sons, Randy and Tyler; son-in-law, Ryan; daughter-in-law, Lori; and longtime friend and sister-in-law, Bobette Tuchek. Sylvia is loved and missed by her grandchildren, Carly, Kayla, and Krista Bronson, and Chris and Elizabeth Spangler.

Sylvia was born in Kalispell on Oct. 3, 1935, and spent her childhood between Troy and Great Falls until her father, Ralph, was promoted to road master with the Great Northern Railroad in Whitefish, where Sylvia attended and graduated from high school.

Sylvia fell in love with her future husband, Lee, in 1952, when Lee found the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. They were married on the evening of July 8, 1956.

Sylvia and Lee moved to Spokane in 1964 where Sylvia worked for the Spokane School District as a special education secretary for 22 years.

Sylvia and Lee shared 52-plus joyous and loving years at each other's side, including Sylvia's stay at St. Joseph Care Center.

Sylvia's entire family would like to express their deep appreciation to the entire staff at St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane for their loving kindness and the gentle care they provided to Sylvia over the last four months.

A memorial and celebration of Sylvia's life will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 at St. Steven's Episcopal Church in Spokane.

In lieu of flowers, Sylvia's family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association Inland Northwest Chapter, 910 W. Fifth Ave., Spokane, WA 99204.
