Kalispell police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of attempted robbery after he allegedly held a knife to his roommate's throat and demanded $400. The suspect is accused of punching his victim in the face, holding him to the ground, and then demanding to be taken to the bank. The incident occurred outside a First Avenue West bar, where the pair reportedly had been drinking. The suspect was arrested at the victim's residence shortly after police were notified. The victim, a 21-year-old man, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Someone dumped garbage in the front yard of a 10th Avenue West home, prompting a call to police.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old man for probation violation at an East Idaho Street motel.

A man upset that his cell phone wasn't getting service called his provider and allegedly left a threatening message. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies spoke with the suspect, who agreed to apologize.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in Martin City involving warring family members and a broken window.
Deputies cited a Mud Lake Road resident after their dogs killed some sheep. Dogs were also reported for attacking cattle off Smith Lake Road.

Whitefish police arrested three people with outstanding warrants after they showed up at the station. A 22-year-old man was arrested for contempt of court, a 36-year-old woman was arrested for contempt of court, and an 18-year-old woman was arrested for trespass.
Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Columbia Falls police
Columbia Falls police responded to a car wash off U.S. 2 after a motorist got stuck inside. She was freed.
Prescription drugs were reported stolen at a pharmacy on Nucleus Avenue. The pills reportedly were picked up by a person other than the patient.
Officers received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a residence on Second Avenue West after receiving reports of an accidental overdose.
The Creston Fire Department and Bigfork Ambulance were paged to a crash on Montana 35, but no one was seriously injured.
The Evergreen Fire Department was paged out to a chimney fire in a home near Shady Lane, but no flames were visible when firefighters arrived.
The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to a pond off Farm To Market Road after a horse fell through the ice. It was recovered.
