Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called to a Lakeside Avenue residence after a 15-year-old girl on Youth Court probation refused to go to school. She and her guardian were counseled.

Someone drove a vehicle across a Lodgepole Drive resident's property to reach a Marion lake. Deputies spoke with both parties involved.

An inmate of the juvenile detention facility on South Main Street is accused of vandalizing some walls and a mirror.

A Montana 206 woman called to complain about the harassing phone calls she allegedly received from her son.

Between $5,000 and $7,000 worth of tools were stolen from a trailer at a Whitefish Stage Road construction site.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police are looking for a man who got into a woman's car on First Avenue East, pulled a knife, and then demanded money. She got away and called police.

A man riding a tricycle on Third Avenue East was reported for flipping off traffic.

Officers responded to a car wash on West Idaho Street after a man was spotted going through garbage cans. He was looking for cans.

A man at a motel on U.S. 93 South claims a group of people showed up and tried to beat him up. In an unrelated incident, a man on Third Avenue West told police two men assaulted him.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy for possession of alcohol and drug paraphernalia and an 18-year-old man for possession of alcohol after responding to a trespassing complaint on Farview Drive.

A Northview Loop woman called police to report the footprints and yellow stain in the snow in her yard.

An intoxicated pedestrian was arrested for trespassing after infiltrating a bathroom in a Center Street mall.

Someone broke a window out of an insurance agency on Third Avenue East North.

Officers received 103 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 40-year-old man for driving with a suspended license and without insurance during a traffic stop on Wisconsin Avenue.

Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on Fourth Avenue West and 10th Street.

Officers cited a 17-year-old boy for possession of an alcoholic beverage after receiving a complaint from the high school.

Officers received 13 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to the intersection of North Meridian Road and Parkway Drive after a Kalispell Middle School student on a bicycle was hit by a bus. The student was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with no apparent injury. The school district is assisting authorities in testing the bus driver for drugs or alcohol, per standard procedure, according to district officials. The children on the bus were transferred to other buses and taken home.

The Somers Fire Department responded to Swede Hill after receiving reports of some burning plastic. Firefighters quickly cleared the scene.
