Taleah Mae Lyda, infant

"Our beloved Taleah Mae Lyda is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father." Taleah was born on Jan. 8, 2009, in Whitefish. She was flown to Children's Hospital in Seattle "where her life passed from this life to her eternal home" on Jan. 12, 2009, as her mommy and daddy held her.

Taleah is survived by her parents, Darren (aka Darren McClure) and Robin McLaury Lyda, and her sister, Madelyn Rose, of Kalispell; and her maternal grandmother, Jean McLaury, of Eureka; paternal grandparents, Loretta and Marvin Cortelyou, of Arlington Wash.; and great-grandmother, Louise Lyda, of Cathlamet, Wash. She also leaves aunt and uncle, Suzanne and Jeremy Mason, and cousins, Noelle and Carter Mason, of Surrey, England; aunt and uncle, Mary and Jim Cortelyou, of Marysville, and cousins, David, James and Matt; as well as lots of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her natural paternal grandfather, Thomas Lyda, and maternal grandfather, Erwin McLaury, "awaited her arrival in Heaven."

A service for Taleah will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, at Smokey Point Community Church, Arlington, Wash. Private burial will take place in Fortine.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist with medical expenses at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 436 Birch Grove Road, Kalispell, MT 59901. Please specify Benevolence for the Lyda Family.

The family thanks everyone for their continued prayers and support and the doctors and nurses at Seattle Children's Hospital and North Valley Hospital in Whitefish for their constant loving care of Taleah, Robin and Darren.
