Hot Springs man dies after Sanders County crash

A Hot Springs man involved in a Monday crash on Montana 28 died from his injuries Wednesday afternoon at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Robert Michael Weston, 53, suffered massive head injuries in the collision, according to Flathead County Sheriff and coroner Mike Meehan.

According to investigators, Weston was on Montana 28 two miles north of Hot Springs about 10 p.m. on Monday when the crash occurred.

He was taken via ALERT helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Meehan said.
