Flathead County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a dead body smell Sunday evening on Airport Road. It turned out the man, who had been drinking, was smelling his dinner leftovers from about two months ago.

Deputies arrested two teenagers for shoplifting at a store on U.S. 2 East.

A blanket caught fire at a residence on Bigfork Stage Road just before midnight Sunday. Bigfork Fire Department responded. The fire did not spread.

A Kalispell pawn shop discovered several guitars missing. They turned up at another shop.

Sheriff's dispatchers logged 82 calls from 3:30 p.m. Sunday to 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell Police dispatch got wind of an unholy smell developing in the United Methodist Church when it was reported that sewage was backing up in the basement Monday afternoon. Utility workers were dispatched.

A resident of Fourth Avenue West had a rude awakening Monday when he found a vehicle had hit his house sometime during the night.

Tires screeching and a man screaming and pounding were reported a little before 5 a.m. on Second Avenue East North Monday but the incident was over when officers arrived.

Officers arrested a teenager for possession of dangerous drugs on Crestview Road late Sunday.

A beer sign was stolen out of a U.S. 93 South hotel by a suspect described as large with a tan shirt and blue jeans.

A car break-in was witnessed in the parking lot of a shopping center on U.S. 93 North. A woman and two men with dark hair and wearing dark sweats attempted the break-in with a crowbar around 6 p.m. Sunday. The extent of the damage was not available.

Kalispell police dispatch logged 53 calls from 3:30 p.m. Sunday to 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls Police

Columbia Falls Police reported a quiet evening with dispatch logging 22 calls between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish Police

Whitefish Police arrested a Whitefish woman for driving under the influence shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.

Early Monday morning, officers arrested a 36-year-old Columbia Falls woman for driving under the influence and no insurance.

At 11:11 p.m., police arrested a 37-year-old man at Railway and Baker Avenue and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Whitefish dispatched logged 30 calls between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
