MISSOULA - Missoula Sentinel held a slight 7-6 edge in matches wrestled with Glacier, but more importantly, received 12 huge points on two forfeits to down the Wolfpack 43-32 in a Western AA dual on Tuesday.

Glacier did not have a wrestler at 112 and 125 pounds.

"I thought we came out a little flat in this match," Glacier coach Mark Fischer said.

"We lost some ones I don't think we should have."

Still, there were some good signs.

"On a more positive note, our 98 and 105 pounders looked awesome," he said.

"Christian Knopp (98) weighs in at 83 pounds every time, gives up a lot of weight, but wrestles with a lot of heart. He just lost in overtime.

"Zach Barber (105) pinned a kid who had beaten him at the Rocky Mountain Classic and looked really sharp doing it," Fischer said.

"He looked really aggressive."

Barber pinned Sentinel's Brandon Edwards in 3:40.

Knopp lost to David VanderSanden 5-3.

Lucas Cummings (145) and Tanner Woodland (152) also won by pin for Glacier, while Tyler Hendrickson (130) and Jordan Nelson (135) posted major decisions.

Glacier's Cooper Sipe (119) won by injury default.

The Wolfpack competes in the AA Duals in Great Falls on Saturday. Glacier then has two home duals next week - both on Thursday - with Missoula Hellgate and Flathead.

The Wolfpack finishes the regular season with two dual outings in Helena. It hosts the divisional tournament Feb. 6-7 with state following in Billings the next weekend.
