A Trails End Drive woman told Flathead County sheriff's deputies she was receiving harassing phone calls from a local phone company and wanted the calls to stop. The company had the wrong number and her account was paid up, she said. Turns out the woman's son gave her number as a secondary contact for billing questions. Phone company officials told deputies the calls would stop when the bill got paid.

Someone broke through the window of a Montana 35 residence and made off with a safe.

Deputies separated two people fighting at a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen. Neither wanted to pursue charges.

A transient fell asleep against the alarm button in the elevator at a business on Montana 35 near Bigfork, prompting rescuers to respond.

Abandoned vehicles were reported on Commerce street in Bigfork and Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

Shots were fired on Columbia Mountain Road, but responding deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

Deputies were called to Browns Meadow Road to deal with a trespasser.

Kalispell police

An intoxicated man on Sixth Avenue East told Kalispell police his roommate's 17-year-old daughter punched him in the face several times and then left, but later changed his story.

A Heavens Peak Drive woman found marijuana in a film canister near her mailbox, but flushed the drugs before officers arrived.

Police received an anonymous request to check on an 8-month-old child on Airport Road, whose mother allegedly left the kid with a man who has a pit bull while she went out drinking.

Officers were called to a South Meridian Road business after a woman complained about her friend being a "jerk." The pair were separated.

Money was stolen from the glove box of a car at a West Idaho Street convenience store.

Men were arrested on suspicion of DUI during traffic stops on Third Avenue West and Seventh Street East.

Officers were called to East California Street after a man allegedly came after his father-in-law with a pipe.

Neither party involved in a road-rage incident in a parking lot on U.S. 93 North wanted to pursue charges.

People yelling and screaming outside a motel on U.S. 93 South were told to leave and not come back. One man was ticketed and released.

Officers received 64 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct outside the police station.

An attempted burglary was reported on West 18th Street.

Officers received calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police were called to Karen Road to remove an unwanted person.

Officers received 23 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

Personnel with Big Mountain Ambulance were paged out to treat a snowboarder who was injured on a run near Ptarmigan Bowl.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Wyoming Street. People injured in the collision were taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to a crash on U.S. 93 near Somers.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to Foy's Canyon Road after a resident accidentally overdosed on morphine. The patient was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Whitefish Fire Department was paged to a chimney fire on Woodland Place, but no flames or smoke were visible when firefighters arrived.
