Maretta Wiladein Davis, 84

Maretta Wiladein Davis, 84, of Kalispell, passed away on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Heritage Place in Kalispell. Maretta was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Missoula to Dick and Alta Williams.

On Dec. 11, 1940, Maretta married Richard Learn in Kalispell. They made their home in Proctor, raising five sons, Jim, Ernie, Rod, Wayne and Ken. They later divorced, and she married Raymond Davis of Kalispell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and her sister, Audrey.

Maretta is survived by her sons, Jim and Maxine Learn of Proctor, Ernie Learn of Proctor, Rod and Brenda Learn of Polson, Wayne and Arlene Learn of Ronan, and Ken and Linda Learn, also of Ronan; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one brother, Warren Williams, of Trego; and two sisters, Pat Hanson and Gloria Landon, both of Kalispell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Glacier Memorial Gardens after the funeral.
